Ryan was born and raised in Lafayette. He is a second-generation entrepreneur raised on the values of hard work ethic and being true to your word.
After completing a history project on Frank Lloyd Wright, Ryan became fascinated with architecture at a young age. He started spending his free time drawing floorplans. His parents, seeing his passion, allowed him to design and draw the upstairs addition to his childhood home at only 16.
After graduating from St Thomas More, he went on to attend The University Of Louisiana at Lafayette. After great thought, his entrepreneurial side got the best of him and chose to enter the engineering field rather than the architectural field. It seemed like the lucrative choice in the early 2000s as the oilfield was booming. He graduated with a business minor and a major in Industrial Engineering.
While at university he successfully started and ran a service company which he would go on to later sell to pursue a job in the oilfield.
While in the oilfield he worked multiple roles which included production line manager as well as a project manager and would go on to manage 15 million dollars of projects furthering his experience in management. After a downturn in the oilfield, he exited the industry. With the help of some key friends, he re-ignited his passion for homes and began working for a production home builder.
There he built over 300 homes in three years as well as awarded builder of the year for Louisiana West.
While this was a dream job, his passion for beauty and quality pulled him towards the thought of building timeless luxury homes. With the help of his best friend and owner of Colony Homes at the time, he set out to design and build his first custom home. It was entered into the 2019 Parade of Homes and was a perfect statement of his ability to produce a stunning home of the highest quality. Since then, his focus has been on creating a one-of-a-kind building company, with the focus being on the client experience, and building houses that your family would be proud to call home.
Ryan is building his family as well marrying Maddie Bahry Baldridge in 2020 and expecting a beautiful baby boy in October of 2022. His Faith and family are at the center of his life and play a huge role in his determination and willingness to work as hard as he does for his clients
